Management Policy
Espec has been advancing its medium-term management plan "Progressive Plan 2025" since fiscal 2022 to realize its long-term vision "ESPEC Vision 2025." Under this plan, the company achieved its targets one year ahead of schedule, reaching 67.2 billion yen in sales and 7.5 billion yen in operating profit in fiscal 2024. Building on this success, Espec has formulated a new plan "PROGRESSIVE PLUS 2027" starting in fiscal 2025, aiming to establish a sustainable, highly profitable business structure.
Espec's growth strategy centers on maintaining its position as a global leader in the environmental testing industry while driving innovation. Specifically, the company prioritizes addressing social challenges through global operations, providing responsible products and services, environmental stewardship, securing and developing diverse talent, and strengthening group governance. These priorities are reflected in the medium-term management plan and reviewed flexibly as needed.
"PROGRESSIVE PLUS 2027" targets AI semiconductors, autonomous driving, and satellite communications as key markets, aiming for 70 billion yen in sales and 10.5 billion yen in operating profit by fiscal 2027. In its equipment business, Espec will expand its product lineup to serve these markets and develop new products to establish competitive advantages in global markets. In its service business, the company will expand contract testing operations and strengthen customer services through IT technology.
As a financial capital strategy, Espec promotes management with awareness of capital costs and stock price, enhancing asset efficiency and shareholder returns. On the non-financial side, the company focuses on strengthening human capital, environmental initiatives, and governance improvements to drive sustained corporate value creation. Through these efforts, Espec aims to achieve quality improvement and profit growth while transforming into a leaner, more efficient organization.
