In the packaging and paper processing business, Hokuetsu Package Co., Ltd. and Tokutatsu (Shanghai) Electronics Materials Co., Ltd. manufacture and sell paperboard and liquid containers. These products sometimes use processed paper supplied by Hokuetsu Corporation. The company also outsources paper processing to Nikkan Co., Ltd.
Other businesses include timber operations, construction, machinery manufacturing and sales, and transportation and warehousing services. Hokuetsu Material Co., Ltd. sells fuel chips for biomass boilers, while Hokuetsu Engineering Co., Ltd. manufactures and maintains equipment. Hokuetsu Logistics Co., Ltd. handles transportation and storage of products and raw materials.
