<p>Our basic dividend policy is to provide stable and continuous returns to shareholders through dividends, targeting a consolidated dividend payout ratio of 40% or higher (excluding special factors). We pay dividends twice annually from retained earnings. Retained funds are allocated to strategic investments including capital expenditures, overseas investments, and research and development. We determine share buybacks comprehensively, taking into account strategic investments and other factors.</p>
