Management Policy

Kirin Holdings has established "Kirin Group Vision 2027" (KV2027), a long-term management strategy targeting 2027, aiming to create value across food and healthcare domains and become a global leader in CSV (Creating Shared Value). To realize this vision, the company has formulated the "Kirin Group CSV Purpose," providing guidance for sustainable growth alongside society.

To achieve KV2027, Kirin Holdings has launched a new "Health Science domain" alongside its existing "Food domain" (alcoholic beverages and soft drinks business) and "Healthcare domain" (pharmaceutical business). In this new domain, the company cultivates next-generation growth businesses using fermentation and biotechnology. The company also views social issue resolution as a growth opportunity, strengthening organizational capabilities to drive innovation and building a sustainable business portfolio.

The company organizes key management challenges for sustainable growth through its "Group Materiality Matrix" (GMM), evaluating them from the perspectives of business impact and stakeholder impact. Since the GMM evolves over time, the company conducts periodic reassessments to enhance alignment with social expectations. From 2025 onward, through stakeholder dialogue and executive discussions, the company is identifying material issues and strengthening its foundation for sustainable development with society.

As part of its 2027 plan, Kirin Holdings aims to realize the KV2027 vision while flexibly adapting to environmental changes. Transitioning from a structural reform stage to a growth realization stage, the company targets high-single-digit percentage EPS growth by leveraging its alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, pharmaceutical, and health science business portfolios. Priority initiatives include value creation in focus business areas and strengthened investment in human capital, R&D, digital, and marketing.

The company targets shareholder value enhancement through EPS growth as a financial goal, maintaining ROIC continuously above its cost of capital. Non-financial targets include health, community, environment, and human capital, advancing CSV management. Through this approach, the company aims to create social and economic value by addressing social challenges and achieve sustainable growth.
