<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
The Company regards returning profits to shareholders as a top management priority. Our basic policy is to return profits in line with earnings performance while maintaining a balance with enhancing corporate value. Regarding the dividend payout ratio, we aim to achieve a consolidated dividend payout ratio exceeding 40%, excluding short-term profit fluctuations, within the scope of distributable surplus.
With respect to retained earnings, we recognize that strengthening internal reserves to prepare for personnel recruitment and capital investment for future sustainable growth, and thereby pursuing further business expansion, represents the greatest profit return to shareholders.
The Company's Articles of Incorporation provide that, pursuant to Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act, dividend distributions may be executed by board resolution. The record date for year-end dividends is March 31 each year, and the record date for interim dividends is September 30 each year.
Regarding annual dividends for the fiscal years ended March 2022 and March 2023, we have decided to pay no dividend. This decision reflects our comprehensive assessment that, as our core micro insurance business continues to perform steadily, securing ample funds and capital as the parent company is necessary to support its growth.
