<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
<p style="margin-left: 24px; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 12px">Our basic policy is to pay dividends from retained earnings once per year as a year-end dividend. The decision-making body for dividend payments is the shareholders' meeting. Additionally, our articles of incorporation provide that interim dividends may be paid as of June 30 each year by board of directors resolution.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 24px; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 12px">As announced on December 8, 2023, in our "Notice Regarding Dividend Payment (No Dividend) and Abolition of Shareholder Benefit Program," the tender offeror determined the offer price on the assumption that no year-end dividend would be paid as of December 31, 2023. Accordingly, at the board of directors meeting held on December 8, 2023, we resolved not to pay a dividend from retained earnings as of December 31, 2023, and to abolish the shareholder benefit program.</p>

<p>Our basic dividend policy is to distribute surplus earnings once per year as a final dividend. Our articles of incorporation also allow for interim dividends with a record date of June 30. However, following the pricing decision for a public tender offer, we did not pay a dividend with a record date of December 31, 2023, and we have discontinued our shareholder incentive program.</p>
