<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
<p style="margin-left: 24px; text-align: left; text-indent: 13.333333333333333333333333333px">Decisions regarding dividend distributions and other surplus allocations under the Articles of Incorporation, as prescribed in Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act, are made in accordance with the capital policy of MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings Inc., our parent company.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 24px; text-align: left; text-indent: 13.333333333333333333333333333px">To implement flexible capital and dividend policies, our Articles of Incorporation provide that dividend distributions and other surplus allocations may be determined by Board of Directors resolution, as permitted under Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 24px; text-align: left; text-indent: 13.333333333333333333333333333px">Additionally, our year-end dividend is based on March 31 as the record date each year. Our Articles of Incorporation also provide that interim dividends may be paid as prescribed in Article 454, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act.</p>
