<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
<p style="margin-left: 24px; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 12px">Under Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act, the Company has established bylaws providing that dividend distributions shall be decided by the Board of Directors with record dates set as the final day of each fiscal year and August 31 of each year. The Company's basic policy is to pay dividends twice annually: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 24px; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 12px">The Company considers returning profits to shareholders through sustainable growth and improved long-term corporate value as a key policy. Regarding dividend distributions, the Company's fundamental approach is to provide stable dividends to shareholders, taking into account business performance and dividend payout ratio.</p>
<p style="margin-left: 24px; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 12px">Retained earnings will be used effectively to strengthen the Company's financial foundation and support future business development.</p>

<span style="font-weight: normal">Based on this policy, the year-end dividend for the fiscal year ended February 2019 was set at 12 yen per share. Combined with the interim dividend of 12 yen per share, the total annual dividend is 24 yen per share.</span>
