<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>Our basic policy on profit distribution is to provide stable returns to shareholders with an annual dividend per share of 20 yen as the baseline. We will work to allocate capital efficiently and commit fully to strengthening our financial position and improving business performance. 　Additionally, our basic policy is to pay dividends twice annually: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. The interim dividend is decided by the Board of Directors, and the year-end dividend is decided by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. 　For the current fiscal year, based on the above basic policy, we have set the year-end dividend at 10 yen per share. The annual dividend, including the interim dividend of 10 yen per share, totals 20 yen per share. 　Retained earnings will be allocated primarily to investments in existing operations. 　The Company's Articles of Incorporation provide for interim dividends as prescribed in Article 454, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act.
