<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
We consider returning profits to our shareholders as one of our important management priorities. Regarding profit distribution, we maintain a basic policy of paying dividends twice annually—interim and year-end dividends—while securing a certain level of retained earnings in light of future research and development investments and business performance.
To ensure stable revenue from pharmaceutical development and enable continuous profit returns to our shareholders, we will focus on improving our revenue base through measures such as licensing out our key pipeline products.
The decision-making body for dividend payments is the shareholders' meeting for year-end dividends. For interim dividends, our articles of incorporation stipulate that "the board of directors may resolve to pay interim dividends with September 30 as the record date each year."
We intend to use retained earnings primarily for research and development funding, centered on future clinical trials, as well as to strengthen our financial position.
