<p class="smt_text6" style="orphans:0;widows:0;padding-left:9pt;text-indent:9pt;">The Company recognizes as one of its important management objectives the basic policy of providing stable shareholder dividends while securing necessary retained earnings for future business development and strengthening of management foundation, and continuing dividends that correspond to business performance. The decision-making bodies for dividends are as follows: interim dividends are decided by the Board of Directors, and year-end dividends are decided by the General Meeting of Shareholders. The Company's Articles of Incorporation provide that interim dividends may be paid by Board of Directors resolution with December 31 as the record date each year.</p>

We will continue to pay dividends that reflect our business performance. Dividends may be paid twice per year—interim dividends are decided by board resolution, and year-end dividends are decided by shareholder vote.</p>
