<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
Our basic policy is to return profits to shareholders through stable dividends backed by solid business performance. We distribute dividends once per fiscal year as a year-end dividend. For this fiscal year's year-end dividend, based on standalone net income of 604 million yen and consolidated net income attributable to parent company shareholders of 798 million yen, we have set the dividend at 20 yen per share (standalone payout ratio of 25.9%, consolidated payout ratio of 21.0%) in accordance with the above policy.
Details of surplus dividends for this fiscal year are as follows. Please note that our Articles of Incorporation provide that matters specified in Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act regarding surplus dividends shall be determined by Board of Directors resolution, except where otherwise provided by law, without requiring shareholder approval.
