Hiroshima Gas operates primarily through two business segments: gas utility and LPG business. In its gas utility segment, the company manufactures, supplies, and sells city gas centered in Hiroshima City, Hatsukaichi City, Higashi-Hiroshima City, Kure City, Onomichi City, Mihara City, and Fukuyama City within Hiroshima Prefecture. The company also provides wholesale supply to other gas operators and outsources gas processing to Seto Inland Pipeline.
Natural gas, the primary raw material for city gas, is imported mainly from overseas via LNG carriers, with operational management delegated to HG LNG SHIPPING CORPORATION. Gas appliance sales are conducted through Hiroshima Gas Life, while gas equipment installation is handled by Hiroshima Gas Life and Hiroshima Gas Techno-Service. Hiroshima Gas Mate handles meter reading, bill collection, and customer service operations.
In the LPG business, Hiroshima Gas Northern Sales and other subsidiaries sell LPG in areas not served by city gas. Hiroshima Gas Propane supplies and sells LPG in residential complexes outside its service area, primarily in Hiroshima City, with filling operations outsourced to Family Gas Hiroshima and others. Hiroshima Gas Propane Industrial manages these operations.
In other business areas, Hiroshima Gas Techno-Service conducts high-pressure gas equipment inspections and engineering-related services. B-Smile operates elderly care and senior services. Through these operations, Hiroshima Gas contributes to the local community.
