<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>The Company recognizes profit distribution to shareholders as one of its most important management priorities. However, given the severe operating environment since the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Company has suspended its basic dividend policy. A new basic policy will be reconsidered based on future circumstances. The Company's articles of incorporation provide that interim dividends may be paid by board resolution. The basic policy is to distribute surplus twice annually through interim dividends and year-end dividends, with interim dividends decided by the board of directors and year-end dividends decided by the shareholders' meeting.Regarding this fiscal year's performance, although revenues declined due to factors including a decrease in fuel cost adjustment amounts resulting from lower fuel prices, the Company secured operating profit and recorded net income attributable to parent company shareholders through continuous company-wide cost reduction efforts. However, given the severe operating environment facing the Company, we regret to inform that no dividend will be paid for this period.Regarding dividends for the next period, given the expectation of continued severe operating conditions, the Company plans to forgo both interim and year-end dividends.

The basic dividend policy was withdrawn in light of the severe business environment following the Great East Japan Earthquake. The company states that it will reconsider a new basic policy in accordance with future circumstances. Regarding dividend distributions from retained earnings, the fundamental policy is to pay dividends twice annually: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend.
