<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>We recognize that returning profits to shareholders is our most important management priority, and we maintain a basic policy of consistently providing stable dividends. When determining dividends, we base our approach on stable, continuous dividend payments, and we make decisions by comprehensively considering profit levels, future business developments, and the amount of retained earnings necessary to strengthen our corporate foundation.We are able to pay dividends twice per year: a year-end dividend decided at the regular shareholders' meeting and an interim dividend decided by board resolution as provided in Article 454, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act.Regarding the year-end dividend for this period, the board of directors resolved at its meeting held on October 20, 2025, to implement dividends with a DOE (dividend on equity) target of 1.3%, stating: "While we consider stable profit returns to our shareholders as one of our important management policies, we will implement dividends targeting a DOE of 1.3% as we approach our 80th anniversary in 2028."<p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;text-align:justify;padding-left:13.5pt;padding-right:0pt;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;text-indent:9pt;font-family:'ＭＳ 明朝';letter-spacing:0pt;line-height:15pt;font-size:9pt;">Based on this policy and after comprehensively considering current period performance and future business conditions, we have set the dividend per share at 13 yen. The annual dividend represents an increase of 3 yen from the previous period.(Note) The dividend of surplus for this fiscal year (13 yen per share; total dividend amount of 57,178 thousand yen) was approved by shareholders' resolution on December 19, 2025.

Dividend decisions are made by comprehensively considering profit levels, future business development plans, and required retained earnings. Looking toward the company's 80th anniversary in 2028, the policy is to implement dividends targeting a dividend on equity (DOE) of 1.3%.
