<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
Our Group views returning profits to shareholders as an important management priority. We also recognize that strengthening our corporate foundation and enabling stable growth ultimately contributes to shareholder value, making the accumulation of retained earnings an important management objective.
Our basic policy is to pay dividends twice annually: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. The year-end dividend is decided by the shareholders' meeting, while the interim dividend is decided by the board of directors. Our articles of incorporation provide that the board of directors may declare an interim dividend with a record date of June 30 each year.
Our Group is committed to returning profits to shareholders as a key management priority. While comprehensively considering business performance and capital requirements, our basic policy is to maintain a stable dividend level, with a target dividend payout ratio of approximately 35% of net income for the period.
Regarding the year-end dividend for the fiscal year ending December 2024, we have determined that further strengthening our earnings base is essential. We regret to announce that no dividend will be paid. For the fiscal year ending December 2025, we plan to suspend both the interim and year-end dividends, as we believe strengthening our earnings base takes priority.
