Royal Holdings operates four main business segments: foodservice, contract catering, hotels, and food products. These operations are managed by the company, seven subsidiaries, and five affiliated companies.
In the foodservice segment, Royal Holdings' subsidiaries Royal Food Service Co., Ltd. and Royal Food Services (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. operate diverse restaurant concepts including "Royal Host," "Tenya" (tempura and rice bowl specialty), "Sizzler" (salad bar and grill), and "Shakey's" (pizza restaurant).
The contract catering segment is managed by Royal Contract Service Co., Ltd., which provides customized foodservice operations at airport terminals, highway service areas, office buildings, and medical care facilities. This division handles diverse contracted services for corporate clients based on location-specific needs.
In the hotel segment, subsidiary RNT Hotels Co., Ltd. and affiliated company K&R Hotel Development Co., Ltd. operate "Richmond Hotel" properties nationwide, providing comfortable accommodations to customers.
The food products segment is primarily managed by Royal Co., Ltd., which handles food manufacturing, procurement, and logistics for group operations. The division also manufactures "contract meals" for external companies and "Royal Deli" frozen meals for household consumption.
Other operations include in-flight catering services managed by affiliated companies Sojitz Royal In-flight Catering Co., Ltd. and JAL Royal Catering Co., Ltd. Additionally, Royal Holdings operates a real estate leasing business. These diverse operations create a comprehensive business portfolio.
Management Policy
Royal Holdings operates under Management Vision 2035, with the mission to "bring smiles to communities and society through food and hospitality." To realize this vision, the company has formulated its Medium-Term Management Plan 2025–2027, with the basic policy of "transformation to growth, and then to breakthrough."
Under this plan, Royal Holdings is advancing four company-wide strategies: "Brand Strategy," "Global Strategy," "Sustainability Strategy," and "Human Resources Strategy." The Brand Strategy aims to establish the Royal Group brand identity while advancing the evolution of individual brands.
The Global Strategy pursues the recruitment and development of global talent, as well as growth in both company-operated and franchise businesses overseas. The company also focuses on capturing inbound demand within Japan. The Sustainability Strategy promotes the establishment of foundations and value creation with communities and society.
The Human Resources Strategy drives human capital investment and transformation of corporate culture. In addition to these strategies, the company maintains financial discipline while operating its business with awareness of improving profitability and capital efficiency, aiming to enhance enterprise value on a long-term and stable basis.
As final targets by 2027, the company aims to achieve net sales of 187.5 billion yen, operating profit of 10 billion yen, EPS of 135 yen, shareholders' equity ratio of 40%, and ROE of 12%. Through these efforts, the company aspires to become a business chosen by all stakeholders.
