<p>Our fundamental dividend policy prioritizes the continuation of stable dividends while aiming for increases in dividend amounts over the medium to long term. Under the Medium-Term Management Plan 2025, we adopt stable and progressive dividends with a DOE floor of 2.5% relative to consolidated shareholders' equity at the beginning of the fiscal year, and we will flexibly consider additional shareholder returns such as share buybacks. Dividends are paid twice annually as a standard practice—interim and year-end dividends—while retained earnings are allocated to strengthening our management foundation and making aggressive investments in growth and new businesses.</p>
