Management Policy
Nichiha is committed to "creating an excellent human environment" and has adopted customer-first principles, innovation and development, and a bright workplace culture as its management philosophy. In its first medium-term management plan (fiscal 2024–2026), the company targets ROE of 9% and ROIC of 8% to enhance corporate value.
The company has established a long-term vision titled "Challenge Global to 2030," targeting fiscal 2030, with the goal of becoming a globally competitive enterprise. It is focusing on four key strategic themes: domestic and international market development, improved profitability, strengthened materiality initiatives, and capital policy.
In the domestic market, the company is addressing housing market contraction by focusing on non-residential market expansion. It is developing remodeling demand for commercial facilities, mid-rise buildings, and condominiums, while expanding its presence in the steel-frame building market. The company is strengthening its organization through restructuring and dedicated personnel assignments.
In overseas markets, the company is expanding sales centered on its U.S. operations, with growth into Canada, Australia, Asia, and Europe. To improve profitability, it is strengthening sales of siding products and installation materials, and reviewing product pricing to maintain stable earnings.
To contribute to environmental and social sustainability, the company has identified materiality priorities including climate change mitigation, circular economy development, human rights respect, and human capital management. It is actively pursuing CO2 emission reductions and carbon neutrality goals.
In capital policy, the company aims to improve PBR above 1.0x through ROE and PER improvements. Balancing strategic investments with shareholder returns, it is executing appropriate cash flow allocation and optimizing financial leverage.
