Business Overview

Wavelock Holdings is a holding company that manages and oversees a corporate group comprising 11 consolidated subsidiaries, 1 non-consolidated subsidiary, and 2 affiliated companies. The group's primary business is the manufacturing and sales of composite materials made from plastics, textiles, paper, and other raw materials. These operations are divided into two business segments: Material Solutions and Advanced Technology.

The Material Solutions segment supplies synthetic resin products across diverse fields including construction materials, housing materials, industrial materials, agricultural materials, daily necessities, and food packaging. Specifically, the segment is organized into six solution sales divisions: Building Solutions, Industrial Solutions, Agri Solutions, Living Solutions, Packaging Solutions, and Environmental Business.

Building Solutions provides construction sheets, mesh, vegetation netting, anti-weed fencing, curtains, and sheet shutters. Industrial Solutions supplies smoke curtain walls and specially formulated sheets, while Agri Solutions provides shade and heat-blocking nets, insect-proof nets, and thermal retention sheets.

Living Solutions offers replacement screens and insect-proof nets for windows, as well as covering materials for horticulture. Packaging Solutions provides food packaging and electronic component packaging, while the Environmental Business offers products and construction services related to renewable energy utilization.

The Advanced Technology segment manufactures and sells metallic-finish decorative films, high-transparency two-layer sheets, specialized printing processing for medical plaster substrates, and opening tapes. These products are delivered to end users through secondary processors and primary suppliers in the automotive and home appliance industries.

This segment is operated by Wavelock Advanced Technology, Wavelock Korea, Wavelock Advanced Technology Inc., and Wavelock Advanced Technology GmbH. Through these operations, Wavelock Holdings provides products and services that address diverse market needs.

Management Policy

Waverock Holdings aims for stable and continuous growth by prioritizing the development of a balanced business portfolio. The company pursues a dual approach of strengthening existing operations and establishing new businesses, with balanced resource allocation. Following a new management structure in April 2021, the group has established its Vision, Mission, and Values to increase its presence in the industry.

The company's growth strategy centers on "material synergy," targeting increased sales, improved profitability, and expanded business domains. Specifically, the company emphasizes five types of "combinations": technology, materials, business operations, growth methods, geographic expansion, and partner companies. By combining elements with different characteristics, the company creates new value.

Waverock Holdings operates two business segments: Material Solutions and Advanced Technology. The Material Solutions segment provides products across diverse fields including construction materials and housing materials. The Advanced Technology segment develops high-value-added products such as metallic decorative films.

The company is advancing differentiation through portfolio review, product selection, and integration of software and services. It strengthens competitiveness through production rationalization and cost reduction, as well as passing increased raw material costs to product prices. Strengthening overseas-related business, organizational restructuring, and talent development are also priority initiatives.

Waverock Holdings faces a challenging business environment including domestic market maturity, intensifying price competition, and raw material price volatility. While addressing these challenges, the company pursues management focused on profitability and efficiency to achieve long-term profit growth.
