<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
The Company has revised its dividend policy as announced in the "Notice Regarding Changes to Dividend Policy and Revision of Year-End Dividend Forecast (Increase)" released on April 14. The dividend policy is as follows.
The Company promotes management with awareness of capital costs and stock price, recognizes profit returns to shareholders as one of the important management issues, and adopts as its basic policy the continuous implementation of sustainable business performance improvement and enhanced corporate value alongside appropriate profit distribution in accordance with financial conditions.
Under this basic policy, regarding profit distribution to shareholders, the Company will strengthen its management foundation and improve its dividend payout ratio while considering capital requirements for future business expansion and revenue growth as well as financial soundness including risk management. For dividends per share, the Company will implement dividends at a target payout ratio of 40% after appropriately balancing growth investments and profit distribution.
For the year-end dividend for the current fiscal year (August 2025), in accordance with this policy and based on the Company's operating results, the dividend per share has been set at 57 yen (on a pre-stock split basis), representing an increase of 18 yen from the previous fiscal year. The Company conducted a stock split on September 1, 2025, at a ratio of 2 shares for every 1 ordinary share.
The Company's basic policy is to distribute dividends once per fiscal year as a year-end dividend. The Company's Articles of Incorporation stipulate that "matters specified in each item of Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act regarding dividend distributions may be determined by Board of Directors resolution, except where otherwise provided by law," and that "the record date for interim dividends shall be the last day of February each year."

As announced in the "Notice Regarding Changes to Dividend Policy" released on October 15, 2025, the Company has revised its dividend policy for the Fifth Medium-Term Management Plan (fiscal years ending August 2026 through August 2030). The revised dividend policy is as follows.
The Company promotes management with awareness of capital costs and stock price, recognizes profit returns to shareholders as one of the important management issues, and adopts as its basic policy the continuous implementation of sustainable business performance improvement and enhanced corporate value alongside appropriate profit distribution in accordance with financial conditions.
Under this basic policy, regarding profit distribution to shareholders during the Fifth Medium-Term Management Plan (fiscal years ending August 2026 through August 2030), the Company will strengthen its management foundation while considering capital requirements for future business expansion and revenue growth as well as financial soundness including risk management. The Company's policy is to continue consecutive dividend increases since listing, using dividend payout ratio and dividend on equity (DOE) as benchmarks. For dividends per share, the Company will continue consecutive dividend increases at a target payout ratio of 40% or higher after appropriately balancing growth investments and profit distribution. In determining dividends per share, the Company sets a minimum dividend on equity (DOE) of 7.0%.

Our basic policy is to continuously implement appropriate profit distribution in accordance with sustained business performance improvement, enhanced corporate value, and financial conditions. We will continue consecutive dividend increases with a dividend payout ratio of 40% or higher. Dividends are paid once annually at fiscal year-end, with a minimum dividend on equity (DOE) of 7.0% as the baseline for dividend decisions.
