<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
Our group recognizes shareholder returns as one of our key policies. We believe there are two main methods of returning value to shareholders: stock price appreciation and dividends.
Given that our group is currently in a phase of upfront investment toward the commercialization of products under development, our policy is to prioritize advancing product development through upfront investment to enhance corporate value and stock price. Regarding dividends, we will consider and decide on dividend payments while prioritizing the buildup of internal reserves to support upfront investment in product development.
When distributing surplus earnings, our basic policy is to pay dividends once per fiscal year at the fiscal year-end. The shareholder meeting is the decision-making body for year-end dividends. Additionally, our articles of incorporation provide for the possibility of interim dividends, with the board of directors serving as the decision-making body for interim dividends.
For the current fiscal period, no distributable surplus exists under Article 461 of the Companies Act and Article 149 of the Regulations for Company Accounting, therefore no dividend will be paid.
