<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
Although the Company has not paid dividends since its founding, we recognize returning profits to shareholders as an important management priority. We intend to consider distributing retained earnings in the future, taking into account our business performance and financial condition. However, for the time being, we prioritize securing funds to support the continuous and planned implementation of research and development activities that require substantial upfront investment, and therefore we do not plan to pay dividends.
When we do pay dividends from retained earnings, our basic policy is to pay year-end dividends once per year. The decision to pay dividends is made by the shareholders' meeting.
Additionally, our articles of incorporation provide that the Board of Directors may decide to pay interim dividends with June 30 each year as the record date.
