<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>We recognize returning profits to shareholders as one of our key management priorities. To this end, we are committed to securing a stable operational foundation and improving return on equity. We will retain earnings to support future business development and strengthen our financial position. Our basic policy is to pay annual year-end dividends from retained earnings, while maintaining a balance with our business performance.Our articles of incorporation provide that matters specified in Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act regarding dividend distributions may be determined by board of directors resolution rather than shareholder approval, except where otherwise required by law. However, we treat year-end dividends as a matter requiring approval at our regular shareholders' meeting to ensure we have the opportunity to directly hear shareholders' views.<p class="smt_text3" style="orphans:0;widows:0;text-align:justify;padding-left:18pt;padding-right:0pt;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;text-indent:9pt;font-family:'ＭＳ 明朝';letter-spacing:0pt;line-height:15pt;font-size:9pt;">Our articles of incorporation also permit us to pay interim dividends.For the current fiscal period, after comprehensively considering capital expenditures and our financial condition, we regret to inform you that we plan to pay no dividend.Regarding dividends for the next fiscal period, based on our basic policy above, we plan to pay 5 yen per share.

Our basic policy is to pay dividends once per year as a year-end dividend, taking into account the balance between strengthening our financial position through retained earnings and our business performance. Our articles of incorporation allow for interim dividends, and the year-end dividend is subject to approval at the shareholders' meeting.
