<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
Our Group prioritizes achieving continuous operating profitability, strengthening our financial position through retained earnings, and reinvesting in research and development activities. At the same time, we recognize returning profits to shareholders as an important management priority, and we will consider implementing dividends while taking into account our financial condition and business performance.
Based on Article 454, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act, our Group has established in its Articles of Incorporation that "interim dividends may be paid with September 30 as the record date by resolution of the Board of Directors." However, our basic policy is to distribute surplus earnings once per year as a year-end dividend. The decision-making authority for interim dividends rests with the Board of Directors, while year-end dividends are decided by the shareholders' meeting.
Our Group currently generates certain sales revenue from our biosimilar business but continues research and development of new products. Our cell therapy business (regenerative medicine) is also in the research and development phase. We have not paid dividends to date, and we are not paying dividends for the current fiscal year.
