<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>Our group is a drug discovery-focused bioventure company. Our major projects are in the drug development stage, and our business is currently in the phase of making upfront investments. As a result, we are currently reporting net losses attributable to parent company shareholders, and we are not paying dividends on retained earnings at this time.However, we recognize that returning profits to shareholders is an important management priority. In the future, when the drugs currently under development are launched, generate profits from sales, and create distributable amounts, we intend to consider paying dividends on retained earnings while taking into account our operating results and financial position.The record dates for dividend payments are set in our articles of incorporation as December 31 each year for year-end dividends and June 30 each year for interim dividends. The decision-making body for these dividends is the shareholders' meeting for year-end dividends and the board of directors for interim dividends.

Currently, as a drug discovery bioventure in the pre-revenue investment stage, we are not paying dividends. However, we recognize shareholder returns as an important management priority. Once our pipeline drugs reach market and generate profits, we plan to consider dividends based on our financial performance and condition at that time. Our articles of incorporation provide for dividends twice annually (fiscal year-end and interim).
