<p>Our dividend policy is based on providing stable, continuous dividends to shareholders. We supplement regular dividends with special or commemorative dividends when business performance allows, to return profits to shareholders. We pay dividends twice yearly—interim and year-end—as our standard practice, while flexibly implementing financial measures such as share buybacks. We reinvest retained earnings with emphasis on research and development, expansion of production facilities, and overseas business development to strengthen our management foundation.</p>
