<p>During the medium-term business plan period, we target a dividend payout ratio of 40% or more of consolidated net income. Our basic policy is to pay dividends twice annually through interim and year-end dividends. While maintaining sufficient retained earnings, we will flexibly implement share buybacks as part of our profit returns to shareholders. Retained earnings will be allocated to research and development investments, capital expenditures, and investment and financing activities.</p>
