<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
Our group's basic policy is to pursue long-term business expansion and establish a stronger management foundation by promoting low-cost operations with emphasis on cash flow and improving profitability, while strengthening our financial position in preparation for future business development, and returning profits to our shareholders.
Based on Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act, our articles of incorporation provide that dividend distributions shall be decided by board of directors resolution. The decision-making body for surplus dividends is the board of directors for both interim and year-end dividends.
During the current fiscal year, while growth products and formats such as trading cards, Suruga-ya, and plastic models have steadily increased sales, we were unable to offset the revenue decline in existing divisions, resulting in overall revenue decline for our group. Given the continued market contraction in existing businesses and rising personnel costs, we have decided to continue paying no dividend this period. We believe that prioritizing capital investment for fundamental productivity improvements, including expansion of growth businesses and unmanned retail operations, will better serve long-term shareholder interests.
Retained earnings will continue to be used for capital investment and other business development purposes.
Regarding dividends for the next fiscal period, we plan to pay no dividend for both interim and year-end distributions, as we prioritize securing investment funds for growth businesses. While prioritizing recovery of profitability, we will carefully assess business conditions and profit levels and continue to consider shareholder returns.

Our basic policy is to strengthen our financial position while returning profits to shareholders, with the aim of achieving long-term business expansion and establishing a solid management foundation. We plan to use retained earnings for capital investments and other expenditures necessary for business development. Dividend payments from surplus earnings can be implemented for both interim and year-end periods, subject to Board of Directors approval.
