Dividend Policy</h3><p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;padding-left:13.5pt;">Our basic policy is to implement a year-end dividend once annually and interim dividends as profits allow. However, we are currently at a stage where we must allocate funds to establish sales operations for our core hemostatic products and to conduct research and development activities for future medical products. Since our founding, we have not paid dividends, and we are not in a position to pay dividends at the end of the 21st fiscal year. For the foreseeable future, we plan to prioritize the allocation of funds to establishing sales operations and research and development activities. While we recognize that returning profits to shareholders is an important management priority, we intend to consider implementing dividends once accumulated losses have been eliminated, taking into account our financial condition and operating results at that time.</p><p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;padding-left:13.5pt;">The shareholders' meeting is our dividend decision-making body. Regarding interim dividends, our articles of incorporation provide that the board of directors may decide on interim dividends as prescribed in Article 454, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act.</p><p class="smt_text6" style="orphans:0;widows:0;"> </p>
