<p>We view enhancing corporate value over the medium to long term and returning profits to shareholders as an important management priority. Our basic policy is to pay dividends twice annually—an interim dividend and a year-end dividend—from retained earnings. We allocate retained funds to investments that will increase corporate value in the future, including expanding new business locations, strengthening manufacturing facilities, developing product technology, and acquiring and developing talent.</p>
