<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>Our basic policy is to enhance shareholder value comprehensively by balancing profit distribution according to earnings performance in each fiscal year with strengthening our financial position through increased retained earnings, while aiming to improve corporate value.The decision-making authority for dividend distribution is the shareholders' meeting for year-end dividends and the board of directors for interim dividends.Through fundamental structural reforms, we are working to establish a stable system for securing profits and aim to resume dividend payments at an early stage. Accordingly, for the current fiscal year, we regret to announce that we will pay no dividend for both the interim and year-end dividend periods.Our articles of incorporation provide for the possibility of interim dividend payments.

We can pay dividends twice annually—at the end of the fiscal year and at the interim period.
