<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>

<span style="font-size: 12px">The Company recognizes returning profits to shareholders as one of its most important management policies. Based on company performance and strengthening of corporate financial health, the Company's basic policy is to continue stable dividends over the long term while taking into account earnings conditions for each fiscal year.</span>

<span style="font-size: 12px">The Company's basic policy is to pay dividends twice annually: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend.</span>

<span style="font-size: 12px">Regarding the decision-making body for dividends, the Company's Articles of Incorporation provide that, pursuant to Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act, the Board of Directors may resolve to pay dividends of surplus.</span>

<span style="font-size: 12px">The year-end dividend for this fiscal year was resolved by the Board of Directors on May 9, 2017, to be 25 yen per share.</span>

<span style="font-size: 12px">Retained earnings will be effectively allocated to business restructuring initiatives, capital investment, and research and development investment to promote medium- and long-term business growth, with the aim of improving performance across the entire Company Group.</span>
