Our basic policy is to allocate profits primarily to research and development necessary for business operations and expansion, capital investment for rationalization, and growth strategy investments for new business development, with the aim of achieving sustained improvement in corporate value.

Regarding profit returns to shareholders, we use the consolidated dividend payout ratio as one of our key indicators and maintain a basic policy of providing continuous and stable dividends.

Our basic policy is to pay dividends twice per year: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend.

The decision-making body for these surplus dividends is the shareholders' meeting for year-end dividends and the board of directors for interim dividends.

The dividend for the current fiscal year was set at 25 yen per share (interim dividend of 12.50 yen). As a result, the consolidated dividend payout ratio for the current fiscal year was 64.0%.

Our articles of incorporation provide that "by board of directors resolution, the company may pay surplus dividends as defined in Article 454, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act to shareholders or registered pledgees of shares recorded in the final shareholder register as of September 30 each year."

The surplus dividends for this fiscal year are as follows.
