<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
Our basic policy is to secure a stable financial foundation over the long term, improve profitability, and continue implementing stable dividends. However, given that our business requires continuous investment—including the development of global talent development programs, ongoing platform development, and content diversification—to meet rapidly evolving market needs, we believe it is necessary to secure investment resources through retained earnings and periodic profits, and to conduct appropriate investment activities going forward.
Regarding shareholder dividends, our basic policy is to pay dividends twice annually—interim and year-end dividends—taking into account business performance and the adequacy of retained earnings in a rapidly changing environment. The decision-making authority for these dividend payments is the shareholders' meeting for year-end dividends and the board of directors for interim dividends.
Additionally, our articles of incorporation stipulate that "the board of directors may declare interim dividends with September 30 as the record date each year."
Regarding dividend payments for the fiscal year ending March 2025, we plan to pay no dividend as distributable retained earnings on a standalone basis (Japan only) remain in deficit. However, we will continue to manage the company with the aim of achieving profitability in distributable retained earnings.

Our basic policy is to continue paying stable dividends. We pay dividends twice a year—an interim dividend and a year-end dividend—taking into account business performance and the strengthening of retained earnings. We use retained earnings as investment funds for developing global talent development programs and continuing platform development.
