Going forward, we intend to make dividend decisions while considering business performance trends and other relevant factors.</p><p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;text-align:justify;padding-left:13.5pt;padding-right:0pt;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;text-indent:9pt;font-family:'ＭＳ 明朝';letter-spacing:0pt;line-height:15pt;">Our basic policy is to pay dividends twice annually: an interim dividend (record date: September 30 each year) and a year-end dividend (record date: March 31 each year). In addition, our articles of incorporation provide that we may pay dividends with other specified record dates in addition to the interim and year-end dividends.</p><p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;text-align:justify;padding-left:13.5pt;padding-right:0pt;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;text-indent:9pt;font-family:'ＭＳ 明朝';letter-spacing:0pt;line-height:15pt;">Furthermore, pursuant to Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act, our articles of incorporation provide that dividend distributions and similar matters shall be determined by board of directors resolution, rather than by shareholder meeting resolution, except where otherwise provided by law.</p>

<p>Our basic dividend policy is to provide performance-linked dividends that respond to our earnings situation. We implement dividends twice per year (interim and year-end). We will make dividend decisions while taking into account trends in our business performance and other relevant factors.</p>
