<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
Our basic policy is to strengthen our financial position by building internal reserves for future business development, while maintaining stable dividend levels even in unpredictable economic conditions. Additionally, we maintain a basic policy of paying dividends twice annually—interim dividends and year-end dividends.
However, after carefully reviewing the recoverability of deferred tax assets, we have recorded 317 million yen as a tax adjustment following the write-down of deferred tax assets. This has resulted in a net loss attributable to parent company shareholders of 280 million yen. Consequently, we regret to inform you that no dividend will be paid this period.
For the next period, we will prioritize resource allocation toward research and development investments for further growth. At the same time, we plan to return as much profit as possible to shareholders. We project a dividend of 12 yen per share (an increase of 12 yen from the current period).
The decision-making bodies for dividend payments are the Board of Directors for interim dividends and the General Shareholders' Meeting for year-end dividends.
Our Articles of Incorporation stipulate that interim dividends may be paid based on September 30 each year by Board of Directors resolution.
