<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>We regard dividend payments to our shareholders, who have provided us with substantial support, as one of our most important management priorities. Based on this principle, we prioritize stable dividends. However, we implement dividends by taking into account our financial performance, strengthening our corporate foundation, and our dividend payout ratio.Our basic policy is to pay dividends once per year (year-end dividend). The dividend decision is made by the shareholders' meeting.We have also stipulated in our articles of incorporation that interim dividends may be paid to shareholders or registered pledgees of shares, as determined by board resolution, with June 30 each year as the record date.Based on this basic policy, we have decided to forgo dividend payments for the current period due to severe business performance. We also plan to forgo dividend payments for the next period in light of the prolonged economic downturn. We are committed to achieving early business recovery across the entire group and will make every effort to resume dividend payments to our shareholders as soon as possible.
