<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
The Company recognizes returning profits to shareholders as an important policy. Regarding dividends, we adopt a policy of deciding dividend amounts by taking into account the need to build up retained earnings to support investments in research and development. For the time being, we plan to pay no dividends as we pursue aggressive research and development activities, and we intend to allocate all retained earnings from profits to research and development.
When we do pay dividends from surplus, we plan to pay dividends once per year at the fiscal year-end. The dividend decision-making body is the shareholders' meeting.
Additionally, our Articles of Incorporation provide that we may pay interim dividends with a reference date of September 30 each year. The decision-making body for interim dividends is the Board of Directors.

We recognize returning profits to shareholders as one of our important policies. However, for the time being, we plan to retain all earnings without paying dividends in order to actively pursue research and development, with the full amount of retained earnings allocated to R&D. Should we distribute dividends from surplus funds, we intend to do so once annually as a year-end dividend. Our articles of incorporation also provide for the possibility of interim dividends.
