<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
We recognize returning profits to shareholders as an important management priority. While we intend to consider distributing surplus funds in the future based on our operating results and financial condition, our current policy is to prioritize securing funds for the continuous and planned implementation of research and development activities that require substantial upfront investment. Therefore, we do not plan to pay dividends at this time.
We intend to allocate retained earnings to research and development activities.
If we decide to pay dividends from surplus funds, we plan to do so once per year at the fiscal year-end. The authority to decide on dividends rests with the shareholders' meeting. Additionally, our articles of incorporation provide that the board of directors may authorize interim dividends with January 31 of each year as the record date.

While we will consider distributing surplus funds in the future by taking into account our business performance and financial condition, our current policy is to prioritize securing funds for research and development activities that require substantial upfront investment, and therefore we will not pay dividends at this time. We plan to allocate retained earnings to research and development. Should we decide to distribute surplus funds, we intend to do so once per year at the fiscal year-end.
