<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>The Company has not paid dividends since its founding.At the current stage of the Company's business, while product sales from Treakisín®, our first development product, are being recorded, other pipeline candidates remain in the early investment phase. Therefore, the Company's policy is to prioritize allocating funds toward strengthening its financial position and continuing research and development activities, and not to pay dividends in the foreseeable future. However, the Company recognizes returning profits to shareholders as an important management priority, and will consider dividend payments in light of future business performance and financial condition.The Company's Articles of Incorporation provide that interim dividends may be paid with June 30 as the record date by resolution of the Board of Directors. In addition to year-end and interim dividends, the Articles of Incorporation provide that surplus dividends may be paid with a designated record date. The Board of Directors decides on interim dividends, while the General Meeting of Shareholders decides on year-end dividends.

Currently, we prioritize strengthening our financial position and funding research and development activities, and therefore do not pay dividends. In the future, we plan to consider profit distributions based on our operating results and financial condition. Our articles of incorporation allow for both interim and year-end dividend payments.
