<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
The Company recognizes returning profits to shareholders as one of its important management priorities. Dividend decisions are made after carefully considering business performance, financial condition, the status and future plans of research and development investments, and other relevant factors.
To enable flexible capital allocation and dividend policies for shareholders, the Company's articles of incorporation provide that dividend distributions and other matters specified in Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act may be determined by board of directors resolution.
Regarding dividend distribution for the current fiscal year, "Wizardry Variants Daphne," released on October 15, 2024 (third quarter), performed better than expected, resulting in increased revenue compared to the previous period. However, the Company recorded a net loss attributable to parent company shareholders due to special losses of 1,171,806 thousand yen, primarily from software impairment losses. Additionally, given the continued high uncertainty surrounding newly launched titles, the Company has decided, regrettably, not to pay a dividend this fiscal year.
Going forward, the Company aims to enhance long-term corporate value by balancing growth investments for the future with shareholder returns.
