<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
The Company recognizes returning profits to shareholders as an important priority. Our basic policy is to enhance shareholder value through reinvestment of earnings from a medium to long-term perspective, while determining dividends by comprehensively considering business conditions, financial performance, and financial position.
Under our Articles of Incorporation, matters specified in Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act are determined by Board of Directors resolution rather than shareholder approval, except where otherwise provided by law. Regarding dividend distributions, our Articles of Incorporation provide for year-end dividends with a reference date of January 31 each year and interim dividends with a reference date of July 31 each year, as well as the ability to pay dividends with other specified reference dates. The Board of Directors is the decision-making body for dividend payments.
Retained earnings will be allocated according to future business development needs.
(Note) No dividend distributions with a reference date falling within the current fiscal year are made.
