<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>The Company regards returning profits to shareholders as one of its important management priorities. Our basic policy is to decide on dividends in accordance with business performance while simultaneously strengthening our financial position. 
　The Company's basic policy is to pay dividends from retained earnings once per fiscal year as a year-end dividend. However, our Articles of Incorporation allow for interim dividends, and we intend to implement interim dividends depending on performance in the interim period. The Board of Directors is the decision-making body for both year-end and interim dividends. 
　For dividends from retained earnings in this fiscal year, based on this basic policy, we have set the dividend per share at 65 yen. 
　Regarding retained earnings, we intend to use them to prepare for unforeseen circumstances, strengthen our financial position, and support future business development. 
　The Company has established, based on Article 459, Paragraph 1 of the Companies Act, that dividends shall be paid by Board of Directors resolution, and based on Article 454, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act, that interim dividends may be paid. (Note) Dividends from retained earnings with a record date in this fiscal year are as follows.
