<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>Our basic policy is to prioritize shareholder returns by strengthening earnings capacity to secure dividend resources and to provide continuous and stable dividends. Regarding surplus dividends, we have adopted a basic policy of paying dividends twice annually—interim and year-end dividends.For this fiscal year's surplus dividend, based on our fundamental policy of continuous stable dividends, we have comprehensively considered current business performance trends and future earnings forecasts, and in response to our shareholders' continued support, we have set the dividend at 8 yen per share (including 3 yen interim dividend). This represents an increase of 2 yen in annual dividends compared to the previous fiscal year.To implement flexible dividend policies, our articles of incorporation provide that matters relating to surplus dividends may be determined by board of directors resolution pursuant to Article 459 of the Companies Act. The year-end dividend for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025 was determined by board of directors resolution on May 23, 2025.Although we anticipate a challenging operating environment going forward, we remain committed to strengthening our financial position through increased retained earnings and expanding our business foundation, while striving for greater profitability to meet our shareholders' expectations.
