<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
As a bank with public responsibilities, our basic policy is to implement dividends with the aim of maintaining sound management, strengthening our management foundation, building up internal reserves, and enhancing corporate value while contributing to shareholder interests.
Under our Articles of Incorporation, we may pay dividends from surplus to shareholders or registered pledgees of shares listed or recorded in the final shareholder register as of March 31 and September 30 each year. We may also pay dividends at other times. We have not established any specific policy regarding the frequency of dividends in each fiscal year.
The Board of Directors is the decision-making body for dividend payments.
In determining dividends for each fiscal year, we respond flexibly in accordance with the basic policy described above.
Retained earnings will be allocated to investments expected to generate high returns and other investments aimed at enhancing our corporate value.

Our basic dividend policy is to maintain sound management by strengthening our business foundation and building up internal reserves, while also implementing dividends to enhance corporate value and benefit shareholders. We plan to allocate retained earnings to investments that are expected to improve corporate value, such as new business ventures with strong profit potential.
