<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>The Bank's basic policy is to pay dividends twice per year: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. The Board of Directors decides on the interim dividend, while the year-end dividend is decided by the shareholders' meeting.From the perspective of the public nature of banking operations and maintaining sound financial management, the Bank's basic policy is to strengthen its financial position through appropriate retained earnings while following the management policy of Nishi-Nippon Financial Holdings Co., Ltd., its parent company, and paying dividends to that company. Based on this policy, the year-end dividend for the current fiscal year is set at 2 yen 80 sen per share, and combined with the interim dividend of 2 yen 50 sen, the annual dividend is 5 yen 30 sen.The Bank's Articles of Incorporation provide for the ability to pay interim dividends.　(Note) Dividends with record dates in the current fiscal year are as follows:
