<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3>

The Company regards dividend decisions for shareholders as a top priority. Our basic policy is to continue stable dividends while making capital investments to respond to competitive bidding and technological innovation in the automotive industry, developing new products and technologies, rationalizing production, and improving quality to further strengthen our corporate foundation. We also distribute profits according to business performance.

Based on Article 459 of the Companies Act, the Company's articles of incorporation provide that surplus dividends may be paid by board of directors resolution.

The Company's basic policy is to pay surplus dividends twice annually: an interim dividend and a year-end dividend.

For the current fiscal year, the year-end dividend per share has been set at 20.0 yen. Combined with the interim dividend of 30.0 yen, the total annual dividend per share is 50.0 yen.

Retained earnings for the current period will be allocated to capital investments for quality improvement and cost reduction, as well as used to strengthen our sound and stable corporate foundation. We are committed to rationalizing our business operations.

The surplus dividends for the current fiscal year are as follows:
