<h3 class="smt_head2">3 [Dividend Policy]</h3><p class="smt_text2" style="orphans:0;widows:0;padding-left:13.5pt;">Our basic dividend policy is to provide dividends in line with earnings performance, while taking into account the strengthening of our financial position and building sufficient retained earnings to prepare for future business development. However, due to poor business performance, we have not paid dividends since the fiscal year ended March 1990. Given the current situation, we are unable to pay dividends in the current fiscal year and will therefore forgo dividend payments. Going forward, we aim to resume dividends and will work to strengthen our financial position and improve business performance so that we can provide stable and continuous dividends. Our basic policy is to pay dividends twice annually—interim dividends and year-end dividends. Year-end dividends are determined by shareholder vote, while interim dividends are determined by board resolution. Our articles of incorporation provide for interim dividends to be paid annually with a record date of September 30, as permitted under Article 454, Paragraph 5 of the Companies Act.</p><p class="smt_text6" style="orphans:0;widows:0;"> </p>

We aim to pay dividends twice annually—an interim dividend and a year-end dividend. Going forward, we are committed to resuming regular dividends and will work to strengthen our financial condition and improve business performance to ensure stable and sustainable dividend payments.</p>
