<h3>3. Dividend Policy</h3>
The Company aims to enhance corporate value on a medium to long-term and sustainable basis. To achieve this, we recognize the importance of actively pursuing investments in new facilities, including hospice-type residential properties, as well as M&A activities such as acquiring additional small-scale podiatry clinics in the United States, with an eye toward future growth. At this time, we believe it is appropriate to prioritize building internal reserves and investing in business expansion and operational efficiency to increase corporate value.
During the current fiscal year, for the reasons stated above, we did not pay dividends and prioritized securing internal reserves. We plan to allocate retained earnings toward investments in new facility development in the Hospice segment, as well as investments in strengthening our management infrastructure, including additional acquisitions of small-scale podiatry clinics in the United States and the expansion and development of personnel.
Going forward, we will consider returning profits to shareholders while taking into account the operating results and financial condition of each period. However, the timing and implementation of dividends have not been determined at this time.
When distributing retained earnings, the Company's basic policy is to conduct dividend distributions once per year as year-end dividends, with the Board of Directors serving as the decision-making body. The Company's Articles of Incorporation provide that the Board of Directors may resolve to pay interim dividends.

At present, the company prioritizes building internal reserves and reinvesting in corporate growth. This includes investments in new locations such as hospice-type housing facilities and additional acquisitions of small-scale podiatry clinics in the United States. The company will consider returning profits to shareholders in the future, taking into account operating results and financial condition in each period. When dividends are paid, the company will implement year-end dividends once annually as the standard practice, with interim dividends also possible.
